Warplanes: More Predators Head For Libya

August 26, 2011: Last week, the United States sent two more Predator UAVs to operate over Libya. They join two Predators that have been there since April. In the last five months, Predators have spent over a thousand hours over Libya, and fired 92 Hellfire missiles. The two additional Predators will be very useful now that Kaddafy’s forces have been defeated, but Kaddafy himself has not been captured. Predators are very good at searching for people.
