Oto Melara has developed a new turret known as HIT-FACT based on the turret of the Centauro tank destroyer. It can mount either of two cannon, both new Oto Melara designs use special steel to reduce weight while increasing chamber pressure. These are the 105mm (52 caliber) and 120mm (45 caliber) high velocity tank cannons. This cast aluminum turret could be mounted on numerous light and medium armored vehicles.--Stephen V Cole
