Killings continue in Borneo, with the bodies of settlers continue to be found. In Aceh, civilians have been taking most of the abuse. So far this year, about 800 people have been killed in Aceh. About three quarters of these were civilians. Some 120 rebels died and 80 security personnel. Peace talks between the government and Aceh rebels are trying to reduce the civilian casualties.
