Here today, gone tomorrow. An SPLA spokesman said the Sudanese government (Khartoum) had already broken the US-sponsored ceasefire in the Nuba Mountains. The ceasefire was initially an extension of an often breached ceasefire agreement. The extension was to have gone into effect December 14. According to the SPLA, government aircraft attacked a hospital and killed civilians in the central Nuba Mountain area.
